Well, I have been biting my tongue for a few weeks now, not wanting to say anything just in case it fell through. But I can now confirm that 8 of my images are to be used in a brochure for selling free standing baths. It all started when I was sent a message via my Flickr account by one of the founding members of thisischemistry [link] , a company that deals with brand development, design and PR media relations. Apparently his business partner had been looking for images a few months prior to contacting me. He mentioned it to Martin, who had a more in-depth view of my images on Flickr, and thought it was exactly what they had been looking for. He said that they weren't after the normal landscape shots that are abound on flickr, but were after images that were a bit more dramatic. Originally they just wanted 2 or 3 images, but then that changed to 5 and then finally they settled on 8.Honestly,You could have knocked me down with a feather when I had heard that my images were wanted by this company. As well as being paid for my images, which will come in very handy(because I'm still out of work,6 months and counting) the images will bare my name/flickr account and they will send me the brochure, so I can actually see my work in print.
I have included for you to see,a low res outline of a few shots that will be featured in the brochure and also a screen capture of the whole 9(only 8 will be used) images that will be used.

Well I thought it was about time to write something in this journal thingy,so here goes.Sorry to say, I be will starting with this shocking story I heard today regarding a photographer called Kelly Peet [link] A must read for all photographers especially those who specialize in Landscapes regarding the hazards we could face in the field.What are your thoughts on the story?
